September 22, 2015by: Sierra MProgram: Teen Language Camp in Costa Rica with GreenheartI loved my summer camp in Costa Rica. My Spanish improved greatly! Now I can hear and understand Spanish when it's spoken very fast! My speaking still needs improvement but it's just my confidence in the way. My favorite excursion was going to La Paz volcano and waterfalls which was so beautiful! We saw all sorts of animals that I had only seen in books. The culture there was so easy going, we constantly heard the phrase,"Pura Vida" meaning pure life. I would recommend this trip to all highschool students interested in Spanish and the Costa Rican culture! Pura Vida!
