Global Effect

Global Effect is a Christian-based nonprofit in the Dominican Republic. We envision sustainable physical, social, economic, and (most importantly) spiritual transformation within our partner communities. We are committed to breaking the cycle of poverty among the local people we serve. Interns are vital to our mission as we host short-term impact trips and church groups. Rather than focus on one aspect of a person, we strive to nourish overall well-being – body (physical needs), spirit (discipleship), and soul (counseling and education) – to truly create a positive impact. We hope to reach this goal through our diverse programs, including Community Transformation, Clean Water Initiative, Career Institute, and Leadership Academy.
