Work with local Amerindian communities on sustainable, environmentally friendly tourism projects to give the jungle sustainable value and keep out the loggers. The ultimate goal is to preserve the jungle, wildlife, and Amerindians' way of life. This volunteer abroad experience will lead you to the northernmost frontier of the Amazon jungle, in the southern reaches of South America's only English-speaking country—Guyana! Have the privilege to discover this country while it is yet pure with many interesting indigenous cultures to meet and amazing wildlife to view.
