These are open to individuals of diverse ages and backgrounds and feature flexible options tailored according to objectives (as described below). Gap Year Programs at FUA-AUF:
Bridge Year - Ideal for recent high school graduates who wish to spend a bridge year abroad before transitioning to college. This is a unique opportunity to get ahead with General Education requirements, which are transferable to 2 or 4-year degree programs. 

Gap Year - Ideal for college students whose current majors could benefit from the challenge of new cultural contexts.

U.S. credits are available for all gap year programs through FUA-AUF’s U.S. School of Record, the University of South Florida. Gap year options can be taken as a full academic year (2 academic terms) or for shorter periods (single or multiple 3-week sessions).
