FUA offers Career Programs, unique for their combination of in-classroom learning and practice in the field alongside professionals in the dynamic local economy of Florence, Italy. Coursework and content derive their strength from research and practice, supervised by faculty members who are respected industry professionals. The concentrated format of career program levels allows for accelerated learning in concentrated time periods.

The Career Programs are 1 to 2-year intensive professional programs of specialized studies concentrating on specific industries and fields. Program options include Culinary Arts, Master in Italian Cuisine, Hospitality Management, Baking and Pastry, Wine Studies and Enology, Photography, Visual Communication, and Fashion Design and Technology.

The programs are divided according to levels, with students finishing one level in approximately 10 weeks. At least two levels are required for certification (I and II or II and IV). The core education of each level consists of 5 courses, wherein some include an Experiential Learning component.
