The approval of a new constitution in South Africa saw the rise of middle-class Africans. But most people have yet to experience the benefits of this ‘new freedom’ as they continue to struggle with a high unemployment rate. More than ever, there is a widening gap between those who live in poverty and the well-off. Plus, an estimated 29.1% of the population is living with HIV or AIDS.

As an intern/volunteer, you will help address healthcare concerns in South Africa, particularly in Cape Town. Take on responsibilities based on your skills and training as well as current needs.
