Hospitals in Thailand are known all over the world for their professional care and advanced equipment. Have the opportunity to gain firsthand exposure to these aspects through an internship in Chiang Mai. The placement largely involves shadowing doctors and assisting the staff from Mondays to Fridays, 8 am - 4 pm. Along the way, you’ll learn about the city’s medical system as well as tropical diseases and public health issues in the region.

This is an ideal program for students pursuing a career in the medical and healthcare field. Placements are available for pre-meds with junior or senior status and medical students. Interns live with other participants in the volunteer house and bedrooms are shared when the house is at capacity, so get ready to have amazing roommates. Breakfast is served at the volunteer house.
