As an anaesthetist with MSF, you will be essential in ensuring the safe delivery of anaesthesia during surgical procedures, often in conflict zones and areas with limited medical infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
Conduct pre-operative consultations to evaluate surgical risks and decide on anaesthetic protocols.
Administer and monitor anaesthesia during surgeries.
Provide post-operative care, including pain management and patient recovery monitoring.
Train and supervise national staff in anaesthetic techniques and recovery care.

Qualifications:
Certified anaesthetist in your country of practice.
Experience in paediatrics, obstetrics, and trauma anaesthesia.
Available for a minimum of 6 weeks for the first placement; subsequent placements may vary.
