Walk in the Vikings’ historical footsteps, from Sweden to Iceland, as you examine Viking society, politics, expansion, gender roles, religion, and legacy. An essential part of this interdisciplinary course is dedicated to medieval Icelandic sagas and how Vikings are portrayed in modern public history and contemporary popular culture.
