Cuso International is a development organization with almost 60 years experience in unlocking human potential. Striving to be a “force for change in an ever-changing world”, we aim to lessen inequality and poverty through the combined efforts of volunteers, donors, and partners. We envision a world where everyone is capable of developing their skills, realizing their true potential, and integrating fully into society. Cuso International was formed in 1961 by a group of Canadian university graduates who each took the role as an ambassador while filling skill gaps in developing nations. As they evolved over the years, so does the role of our volunteers.
