CROSS ROAD connects you to our partner organizations in Kathmandu and Chitwan through placements in the following fields:

Orphanage Assistance
Teach English
Medical Healthcare
Photojournalism

Programs in Nepal start on the first and third Monday of every month throughout the year. You can join anywhere from 1–12 weeks or 4–12 weeks for the English teaching program at a monastery in Kathmandu.

Volunteer qualifications:
- 18 years of age or older at the start of the program
- fluent in the English language
- minimum GED (completed high school level education)
- respectful of all partner organizations and local community members

Our medical and healthcare programs require proficient training and prior experience. Upon arriving in Nepal, you must present relevant documents related to your previous exposure to these fields.
