CROSS ROAD connects you with local communities through the following placements:

Street Children's Outreach Program: Provide support to street children and youth, as well as those from low-income families.

English Teaching: Work independently or collaborate with other volunteers and local teachers in rural schools.

Healthcare Program: Assist with improving services in medical facilities and developing campaigns centered around critical healthcare issues.

Volunteer qualifications:
- 18 years of age or older at the start of the program
- fluent in the English language
- minimum GED (completed high school level education)
- respectful of all partner organizations and local community members

Given the nature of the tasks involved in our healthcare programs, we ask that interested volunteers have prior experience and proficient training. Relevant proof of previous exposure within this field has to be presented to the host organization upon arrival in Guatemala.
