Dive into exciting, new cultural and personal experiences with the combination of language and civilization study—French and Cours de Civilisation Française at the Sorbonne! Imagine a year of living like a local in Paris!

This program promises a comprehensive learning experience emphasizing language acquisition, pronunciation through phonetics, and insights into French civilization through lectures. Teachers use a holistic approach to ensure you learn the language and understand the cultural context in which it is used.

The CCFS offers two annual (24 weeks of class) programs, open to all levels (from absolute beginners to advanced):
- General French (AN40): 2 hours of language per day + 1 hour of phonetics per day every other week + cultural lectures
- Reinforced French (AN70): AN40 + 4 hours per week of oral and written reinforcement

We also offer the opportunity to completely immerse yourself in the language and culture by living with a French host family!
