Volunteer to Help Rescued Animals in Peru’s Sacred Valley

Colitas Con Canas, located in Ahunamarca above Urubamba in Peru's Sacred Valley, invites volunteers to help care for rescued animals. At our shelter, you will work with local and international volunteers, providing care and affection to our rescued dogs. This is a chance to make a real difference in the lives of these animals while experiencing the culture and history of the Sacred Valley. Volunteers should plan to stay for at least two weeks. You will work six hours a day, with two days off each week. Your tasks will include socializing with the dogs, walking them, feeding them, and helping with their medical care.
