Coconuts Beach Club Resort, a 23-unit beach resort in Samoa, offers a practical training position. Lasting 3 to 6 months, the role is largely hands-on and depends heavily on self-motivation. Undergo training in most aspects of our resort's operation, including the restaurant, bar, front office, housekeeping, and maintenance. After the training period, you will be assigned to various roles and projects. What you will end up doing depends on what you are adept at, what you desire, and what the hotel needs. You will be expected to work at a supervisory level, so self-motivation is essential.

This training position is not paid. A room in a small shared apartment (on the property) and three daily meals are included. Our restaurant is one of the best in Samoa, and meals are straight off the menus with a few restrictions.

To be eligible, you must be actively enrolled in a school program that allows an internship or a practical training position as part of the curriculum. You will need good English and MS Windows, Word, and Excel skills, and must be outgoing and willing to take on challenges with a smile.
