Interns will have the opportunity to get a real-life view of working in psychology and to develop their experience and career prospects. They will observe trained local therapists, shadowing them in real-life consultations and learning from actual therapy sessions. They will support priorities for mental health and abuse, support community members with diverse needs, such as the elderly, at-risk youth, and people with disabilities, and respond to crises arising from natural disasters.
