Canadian Women for Women in Afghanistan (CW4WAfghan) is seeking a dedicated individual to lead the Manitoba Chapter of Volunteers. This role involves providing leadership to a well-established group of volunteers in Winnipeg, Manitoba, following the retirement of the longstanding chapter chair. This is a remote position with intermittent in-person events occurring in Winnipeg.

Responsibilities:
Guide and support the chapter’s activities and initiatives.
Act as the local representative for CW4WAfghan.
Organize and manage volunteer meetings and events.
Recruit and retain volunteers, ensuring active participation and motivation.
Promote CW4WAfghan’s mission and engage with the local community to raise awareness.

Eligibility:
Experience in leadership and volunteer management.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Passion for improving the lives of women and girls in Afghanistan.
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of volunteers.
