Camphill Village USA, Inc.

Camphill Village was founded in 1961 and is part of an international movement with goals to reform how society treats people with developmental disabilities. It is a nonprofit 501c3 organization, situated on 615 acres of rolling hills in New York's Hudson Valley and is the home of about 230 community members which include adults with developmental differences and live-in volunteers and their families. Volunteers come to Camphill Village from all over the world and stay for a month, year or sometimes more. Each person that lives in the community contributes in a meaningful way to the best of their ability.
