The BPE Teacher Residency offers a year-long training program for aspiring teachers. It starts in July 2024 with a two-month summer institute to prepare you for the classroom. During the school year, you'll work four days a week with experienced teachers, learning as part of a team. You'll also attend classes one evening and all day Friday to learn more about teaching.

You'll be part of a supportive community where you'll learn by doing, working with students in different ways. Teachers and mentors will guide you as you gain confidence in the classroom. The program focuses on teamwork and practical learning, so you'll be ready to teach in urban schools when you finish.
