Barnard Acting in Paris

Barnard Acting in Paris is an intensive Acting class that focuses on the practical study of key Contemporary French theatre practitioners that have contributed to the understanding of acting as a physical and ensemble-oriented practice. The class seeks to practice core principles developed by Peter Brook at Le Bouffe du Nord, Le Theatre Du Soleil, and the Ecole Internationale du Theatre du Jacques Lecoq. During the class, the students will attend week-long workshops with Master performers trained under these pedagogies to further their understanding of a performer’s work on stage.
