I first registered for the course so I could travel and make a difference in the lives of children. I wanted to help kids become their most authentic selves. After completing the course and having the classroom teaching practice, I realized this experience has been so much more than what I expected. I have grown as a person mentally, and have expanded my horizons. I have learned so much about culture and about my peers.
