Spend a summer or semester, even a whole academic year, in Aix-en-Provence through our study abroad program. You will attend IAU College, which has one of Europe’s oldest education abroad programs. The School of Humanities and Social Sciences is open to students with any level of french.

You will live with a French host family and benefit from a range of program inclusions. You will also participate in trips and excursions that vary according to your program. Previous locations have included Giverny, Paris, Venice, and the Luberon Valley. Aix-en-Provence is a unique destination to broaden your global perspective.

The French Honors Program is available during both semester and summer terms at The School of Humanities and Social Sciences and is designed for advanced French students and French majors as an opportunity to live and study in a 100% French-speaking environment.

Students with an advanced level of French have the option of earning 3 U.S. credits for an internship while completing a semester or academic year abroad at IAU College. Internships are available in the following fields: Communications, Theatre, Education, Tourism, Sales, Marketing, Law, and Business.
