This was such a rewarding and life changing experience. Being surrounded by kind, loving, like-minded people from around the world who all came together to such a special place is something that you can't put into words. I was able to learn more about the wildfires that started in Maui and the long lasting effect on the community. I learned different fire mitigation techniques and learned how to use different machines. It was amazing to volunteer in a community that has such a strong culture.
